Terms of Service
Last updated: May 30, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of isitqday.com (the "Site"), operated by JemzApps LLC, a California limited liability company ("we"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. What the Site is
The Site publishes our estimates and commentary about when quantum computers may be able to break currently deployed public-key encryption ("Q-Day"). It includes a countdown, summaries of public roadmaps and regulations, and a Notes blog. The Site is read-only — there are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no way to submit content.
2. Informational use only
Everything on the Site is for general informational and educational purposes. It is not, and should not be relied on as, professional advice of any kind — including security, cryptographic, legal, regulatory, financial, or investment advice. Forecasts about Q-Day are inherently uncertain; they reflect our opinions based on the information available to us at the time of publication. Consult qualified professionals before acting on anything you read here.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Site for any unlawful purpose;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or any related infrastructure;
- interfere with or disrupt the Site, for example through automated scraping at a rate that degrades service for others; or
- copy, redistribute, or republish substantial portions of the Site's content as your own.
4. Intellectual property
All original text, graphics, layout, and code on the Site are © 2026 JemzApps LLC, all rights reserved, unless otherwise indicated. You may share links to the Site and quote brief excerpts with attribution. Trademarks, logos, and content of third parties referenced on the Site belong to their respective owners.
5. Third-party links and references
The Site links to and cites third-party sources — research, news, government publications, vendor roadmaps. We do not control those sites, do not endorse their contents, and are not responsible for their accuracy or availability. Following an external link is at your own risk.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any forecast, date, or other estimate on the Site will turn out to be correct.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JemzApps LLC and its members, officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or anything you read on it, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
