Claim Tracker

See which quantum hardware companies are delivering on their claims—and which are moving deadlines or missing targets. Includes companies selected from our Quantum Technology Index, plus Alice & Bob, IBM, Oratomic, and PsiQuantum.

Updated on November 4, 2026.

Methodology: We collected 347 dated statements by these 12 companies, 2018–2026. 121 meet all three rules: the company said it in its own words, it names something measurable (a machine, a qubit count, logical qubits or a fidelity), and it is due between 2020 and 2030. Excluded: statements in a reporter's, partner's or government's words; targets with no measurable result (rates, revenue, "quantum advantage"); deliveries to individual customer sites; analog-mode machines; claims due before 2020 or after 2030; and repeats of a claim already counted, which counts once, from the first time it was made.

When a claim sets a due date as a year (e.g. "in 2027") we mark end of the year as the due date. A claim moved before its date is judged against the original date. Older companies, companies with more robust roadmaps, and more activity in the press may have more claims.
